Should I upload older stuff?

Posted by TheBikupan - December 4th, 2018

Curious to see what your opinions are on this. Like I'm pretty new here, and whenever I join a new site, my default mode is to not really worry about backlog.

I could backtrack through a couple of months of art tho or something, if you'd be interested in having it here.

(worth noting there is a more complete archive on my patreon tho)

Personally I've only been posting stuff that I made recently or am really really proud of. I wouldn't mind seeing your older stuff but in the end it's YOUR gallery and you get to present it how you want :)

I think you can upload older stuff in order to generate regular updates. Followers are universally appreciate consistency, especially newer ones.

There are WAY too many people posting their ENTIRE back logs. Just post your favorites and link out to the rest. Anything else could be compiled in a folder Dump like dumping grounds or even Mega.nz. There is so much stuff I'd think it'd be worth waiting for a possible Art portal update to post on mass like this.

Personally, I'd like to see all of your art posted here, including the old stuff. If you want, you can upload them over time, people might prefer that instead of all at once.

Yesssss, definitely grab everything from your backlog, it'll help attract and keep new followers.

I think showing at least some of your best pieces would be a good choice!
